About Binna Green

Binna Green began her art career during the 1970’s while living in Southern Italy. During that period she created work in carved stone and in cast bronze with emphasis on abstract form in the spirit of Brancusi, Moore and Hepworth. It was well received and sold through the Alwin Gallery in London.

Since returning to the States she has been working in Clay, concentrating on the development of a series of female and animal figures and, recently, a group celebrating the Omo Valley tribes of Ethiopia. Her primary emphasis is always composition and clearly defined form.
